Low-end PDA

They generally support handwriting input and synchronization with computer. Low-end PDAs generally lack of support by software and hardware. The prices are relative low. HTW, Meijin, Legend, GSL occupy the most shares of Chinese Low-end PDA market. This market is gradually shrinking.

High-end PDA

High-end PDAs refer to the handheld devices which are supported by variety of software and accessories. They have big memory, strong ability of calculating and communication, adapt to such fields as multimedia application, vertical application and professional uses. The typical products are Palm OS series and Pocket PC series. There is a large room for the development of High-end PDAs. The main vendors of domestic market include Legend, Hewlett-Packard, Digital China, HTW, Sunshine, and so on.

Wireless PDA

Wireless PDA refers to the handheld products unite wireless technology and data process technology, integrate the functions of PDA and pager. Smartphone is included in wireless PDA in this report. At present, the main producers are Motorola, Blueflame, Bird, AUCMA, and so on.
