纯碱即碳酸钠，是国民经济重要的基本化工原料，是建材、冶金、化工等行业的基础原料。近年来，随着纯碱下游行业的快速发展，纯碱在中国开始呈现供给紧张的局面。2007年7月以来，纯碱出口价格上涨了近30%，而出口量却同比呈负增长趋势。

未来几年中国玻璃、无机化学品、日用洗涤剂等下游行业产能的快速增长将带动纯碱需求量的增长，根据纯碱的主要下游产业产量增长情况，我们估算了2008—2009年纯碱需求增长情况。

由于需求旺盛，不少生产商扩大纯碱产能。根据中国各大纯碱生产厂商扩产情况以及投产时间，本报告估算了2008—2009年中国纯碱产能扩张情况，并预计了产量。

Calcined soda, namely sodium carbonate, is an important basic chemical raw materials and also a basic raw materials for such industries as building materials, metallurgy, and chemical. In the recent years, the rapid expansion of sodium carbonate downstream sectors has made China in short supply of sodium carbonate. Since July, 2007, China has had a rise of nearly 30% in its export price of sodium carbonate, however its annual export volume has had a negative growth trend.

In the next few years, China’s sodium carbonate demand will rise, boosted by a rapid growth of production capacity of some downstream sectors, including glass, inorganic chemicals and household detergents. Based on the output growth of main downstream sectors, we estimate the growth of China’s demand for sodium carbonate in 2008 and 2009.
